Responsibilities

·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
5 o/ ?' g, u3 T8 f. l
; \( t: @. ]2 F/ l8 ~) b·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters
  m$ I! g4 m1 b' Q2 s! e) ~
( `3 L7 C# x" {& i·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings
$ r' v9 b1 T7 ]; ~" g; l
·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

8 Q6 _( K/ x& c6 w. d: _2 k& X·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

# |1 I3 u+ F, W* e' o. @, J·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

* y- k* I: W4 z; ^7 v0 o·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
- A! D3 k5 G% }( R) M$ }' o
·         Attention to detail is a must

6 X+ Y) @$ @& N* b' ~% s·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

- Y. S$ `. ~0 p·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

·         Possess a Class 5 driver’s license

Work Conditions
