. p; d5 t! Q# lI’m told it’s possible we’ll see an “in development” announcement sometime in 2012 for a large megapixel DSLR  from Canon. I have heard both 39mp and 46mp prototype(s) are out in the field.

/ e- S8 r7 @& X+ Y# r& |8 s5 lIn development announcements seem to be getting more popular with Canon and their high end products. As we’ve seen from the EOS-1D C and EF 200-400 f/4L IS 1.4X, it seems to allow them a lot of latitude in testing and helps with public relations. It also stops sites like this speculating on arrival of new products. :)
