1 l# F- [" x2 r. i7 l& |Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. : Y4 A* @8 r% }0 `4 j

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
1 t9 X6 ~# f/ q9 ?& K1 d: u1 [6 i• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
7 c1 b3 t. {2 \ y: z• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
9 E6 r& w2 ~+ X7 f0 R• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter, C' z1 T. O3 r2 p( K+ S. @
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents6 J4 l. r! V O
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person4 k# h0 S( }4 J5 p$ f
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset

• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients8 H5 v$ w( K& b
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• Knowledge of immigrant services

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience , _, U T& @% r1 @& `. ]
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment9 W1 o' U0 j. o0 V
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
. W: J" u. `0 ?* G• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
