) E m& H3 }3 ^2 \Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

Key Responsibilities:
% X3 D' o9 ~" n X4 H3 Y* N• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
; P5 \0 ]) g! i# o) i• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
3 m+ g. {1 z1 Z" U• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately$ v) ?4 T6 e' P
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter2 H3 C1 K! O2 r* V6 _6 \/ A% ~
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents, ^+ z) A8 D2 Z2 t2 ~, r; p" d( I
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events& t# N) V2 H8 ?3 W. n1 m8 E( K

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters5 G8 Q1 Y" b) c4 H& Y3 d# e! ?* U
• Maintain front counter service files

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
& E" k8 \$ U, G( m$ ?% z% \8 l• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset: `$ `! w3 s2 a3 Q
• Good English writing and oral communication skills/ N9 |% |" V' l7 @, P2 `8 \# Z
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients3 q9 x1 {1 h/ J5 T L+ T
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook# j: p u6 c- ~. S
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience * P1 U9 f6 W* g* ~( k! X
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment" f B% i) E" e# N& ]: C
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism+ T8 m& i& a/ M2 a7 M
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision- u) k, u9 v+ _" s
