The opthalmologist likely felt confident about his/her diagnosis based on the symptoms without the need for culture test. It's hard to say.% @% j; f+ A( Q
In your case because it's getting worse, the best bet would be to go to ER again and specifically ask for a different referral for a different ophalmologist.* [# }; |' o! f2 z, q! x% Z
