A male wearing a balaclava and carrying a handgun was spotted by a pedestrian walking in the area of Falconer Road and Riverbend Road at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. D# R D( }( A9 ?9 K! h
# w0 m1 K+ s/ `Police arrested the man later in the afternoon at the Terwillegar Recreation Centre, after receiving a tip from a resident.5 t3 d% s; s' H7 ^) M' j! q

A search of the man's home turned up a BB pistol and balaclava matching the description given by witnesses. The man is charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes. & A.
