求教给父母签证延期

父母的签证快到期了，想延期，他们正在办移民，但我只想给他们一次性的延期，不是多次往返的，是不是也要买保险呢，请有经验的同学给解答一下。谢谢

一次性的应该不用。我给我妈延过一次，没让必须买保险。

5 i, {$ R$ t) ^& kproof of medical insurance coverage for one year with a Canadian insurance company (copy of the insurance certificate or policy).
这是不是一定得买，还是可买可不买。
