What is the criteria for reporting a traffic accident? Can I phone it in?
0 ^' h( W/ g1 _' CEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:6 `- N$ F0 c2 O8 f' ^7 `
1) Any bodily injury or death;$ L' Y3 k& Z2 A* a
2) A Hit-and-Run;
' _2 t6 n) d4 V6 ` Z4 d3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
- l' Z/ [) z0 p% K4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;4 y; ^( L) ?! N" W) V0 T
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
