Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:

& Y: U9 f+ a7 _- x" Q% M& ]" {( n) P2) A Hit-and-Run;0 p0 P1 A# D& v& `' W3 ~
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;) m) [$ A7 @% ^3 P
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;# I7 m0 u; |' v$ X- g2 i
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

7 }, g$ b1 e/ ^0 ~& u6 M" ONormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
