Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:+ {& x% v2 g5 V6 t4 S" l
1) Any bodily injury or death;: B1 k% U3 I( L2 b
2) A Hit-and-Run;
' Z; J" U: V' X& R: a3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
+ E7 N$ y7 e `( n, v4 U4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;0 {" D" X' ] u7 z- e( H' s$ r
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

9 N+ y8 C$ I# Q% A+ a- v: w tNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
