0 i$ \0 V$ r, E% qTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
  j8 r' L( A6 N" u4 g( KReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:& V+ [- R( H% u0 ^  I
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
  v- ?5 O; P1 k8 |: ]0 b•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
- R; {; [' T$ H- z( [" |1 s•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.5 n" u* V+ q( R3 _0 s7 c
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.+ |: f4 ]/ g4 e- n# w. e# U5 y% d
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
2 J) Y& M* ^( g7 j•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
! h7 i) W, T" Z" f9 Z! e•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.* I7 n1 y- {9 S/ {% f- L2 c
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
- d" ?% W( J3 ]" X, q9 R•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
% e& K  T: d& H% k, `# I•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
! p% {8 X6 g. b$ s" v•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.8 T" z) w( g  i8 a" ~
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.3 m) o  S5 P, k" x7 e( i2 m) j3 v
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
8 K" ]& A9 s- _( m- f: v•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
5 a4 b- ?$ z* G% p9 `•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

) f8 A5 m! p1 W# LRequirements:  w' I4 `2 d: T1 f0 l# h: }
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
# H, Z. X& l/ Q  o! l' ~•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
: Q/ z9 d* C- G" N•        Strong Union Relations experience required.   B/ u; B1 ?/ F. j
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset., `  w+ p- F( {# W
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.5 W8 E3 h% S3 V7 _' W2 C; e
