Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
3 @; ?7 q4 n4 b# T3 iReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
( W" x( h% p+ U5 c3 C" E" b  `: {+ M•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.  x/ j3 d: T: S1 M, n* G
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.6 q) n: Z* C8 Z' z' ~$ ]
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.: ?, ~, n4 |! _" o% ^* D  h
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.  I. u  P+ p; {5 X( y
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
/ f% b, k( q  u8 ^% A5 q•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
# b5 h/ ^' }8 e) Q•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
9 ~! _: ^: b. J& h•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.6 Z. x0 g/ f8 ]8 C& J# u2 @
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
/ S7 t! Q& ~8 J3 ~•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
4 c$ w5 G2 _  B* b3 D•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

4 m% r' V* S) v; b2 P9 fRequirements:9 f% L' v  ^8 v5 }- S& q$ {7 }6 l
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
3 F! L9 [; \8 J, F•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 5 N7 v9 E4 L$ S$ {
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
: o, M$ s; I- y' G5 k•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
/ @+ U3 \; I- E9 _6 Z•        CHRP Designation is an asset.. h" I; N, Z+ j6 j( c0 N
