Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.* y8 L$ b$ f5 S; A! L/ h* p
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:7 M1 M2 |" a( q. q, T
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.5 T2 T) ~& w5 L+ Y
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.. ]# N5 a) x1 N9 J, Z6 X1 g
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
: ^& z2 M. g) K: s+ h  W•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
8 v' v0 _6 n/ x5 P4 M•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. " C9 }8 `  D# ?0 w' E
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
& r; q" S9 A. H* E# _1 l% X- e! |•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.0 ^, g9 ~) w* @7 S3 e
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.0 t5 U% v( M$ F1 Q
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
9 n/ C6 A' m# t/ _•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
7 I/ M# y( B' G  a$ d: N, O•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
- F. ^$ c/ }# d+ b8 h•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.3 z8 f% S3 ^; ?. a: _  _
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
: B1 w/ `* N0 l•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

7 V0 A" N# X0 f+ F" VQualifications
; j# n  C( ~/ u3 |. ^* sRequirements:
/ b8 }( X7 Z  N# L0 b( Z, ]/ Y/ n•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ( ?  U5 ?) U* }, X" M7 u% U3 x8 k
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
* U) G8 ~4 `) n$ ?  Y" v# z% K•        Strong Union Relations experience required.   S  P( G2 z9 f6 A
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.9 w' R  s- f. L) ~2 g* b/ p; G% \
•        CHRP Designation is an asset., z5 W# G  I& y
