But if you only have a small network and don't want to spend that kinda money, any IPSec VPN firewall can do it. I would still recommend the Juniper product, you can get a SSG 5 for $700.9 `9 z1 A6 ~' m) ^0 O2 r
I have set up some in linux. But I have not tried a build-in VPN in a firewall product. If you set up everything yourself, you can solve any issue if something troubles happen. If you buy a product and it is not compatible to that at the other end, you can do nothing.( T" Q# k9 P6 D9 Y

I don't think it is caused by Telus if your VPN is not working, because almost any ISP allows a variety of VPNs. You firstly should have all necessary information from your Toronto side. If your VPN client setup is not working, you should contact your Toronto server. 9 C; S! [' b/ z" Q 8 @* S7 R" y3 X6 J2 eIf your side is not a network to use VPN, but a single machine, you don't need to set your router except allowing firewall ports for VPN (different types of VPNs use different TCP/IP ports. Your router has to allow these ports's traffic.). My suggestion for this situation is 1) make sure your router allows traffic on related VPN ports; 2) follow your server's instruction to setup your VPN client; 3) contact server side if not working. * _( V* t" C# v; R; a- I2 @9 Z: c" e.
