u* ` m' G% m* K$ p7 lPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. 9 _, e6 L6 J! b* M3 j

5 c' T- P0 t1 ?8 H3 L• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person, W6 Z+ |, E) L
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
. |) |3 U& ]' T) `- ?. t• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately @$ G O1 z( v0 s
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter, ?5 M7 ^; S9 G3 L3 c' Q$ `. ^
• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings
, y# l5 m0 t, b8 \7 T• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
, c1 R0 @( J4 p5 B; X• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters2 z& _' |7 ~/ Y9 y; r6 Z2 J
• Maintain front counter service files

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
* i0 X( g5 V$ Q0 `7 g• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
% A+ q6 q9 ~' j8 x$ u2 N5 m4 \• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
8 I) K) X: X9 |0 O8 x2 o4 j" r• Good English writing and oral communication skills1 `6 } K5 U T4 r* R
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
$ E7 ?! x2 V8 h& [) Q1 \/ j• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications:
/ X; j( R1 x' @# M• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
2 ^5 c% s% O% @• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment6 }8 q' }& @. v- R0 V
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
5 {- z1 h' s0 F( i0 H4 @5 ?• Ability to work well under minimal supervision9 M r3 ~' ^7 N7 l
