The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
7 \) N4 T) ~$ H. K+ G- n8 L9 c1 {• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
" ^: Z9 Y+ R% ?• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
3 j+ f7 j/ n4 F0 c, G• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
) Y6 D9 m; |  n' `: H( S) H• Completion of a high school diploma
/ b, ]6 {' z( ~0 n+ ]4 T• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
! e( d5 p" H; F) @  X5 VTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
: d1 Y6 `! j: o) K( d) _• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
" q. p" `0 E4 b+ c" ?0 z• Standard First Aid with CPR
/ ]& f- u+ @3 X' ?: P5 {2 g* o• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
' R3 x% \" t  |$ o6 n• *Medication Administration

* ~: w! d* ?9 o- g( ]$ uSkill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
; f, p* z7 {* p) T1 ^• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
