The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
4 X* T* Y# p  _% D+ t/ X$ s7 G, n• Program implementation
4 ^, {4 _' ]5 r' l7 v" ?' i• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
/ s5 v$ p9 L/ v/ t- N. p4 M• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

6 P& w2 r; L6 H/ s; AMinimum Qualifications:
Education
; O& c. |4 Y- ^/ `• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
" ^* b2 f+ n2 Q5 T" {5 F6 h; uTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
  y3 A6 q. G) j• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
1 v( }( P: T+ P( e• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
2 v. I! z& Y6 K: k! }, S• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

  o: h. g  f# t! Z( b• Good verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
