The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
6 }& r- _5 M* q% n  m• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
8 T* v% }4 o0 q/ a" \# M+ t) y4 x• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
& @9 a0 j* s& q5 _+ r• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
5 D9 _( H4 z% n- i• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

' F0 _+ N  N. k0 wMinimum Qualifications:
# e( n  x3 W2 X1 V# W1 ~1 zEducation
# I! g6 Y2 b8 I8 M2 Y• Completion of a high school diploma
7 ~% e( s! O% f8 ^9 ?6 T• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
$ x1 k4 f4 c8 e) \Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
2 u% g+ G, i1 z8 }* M( Z" B• Standard First Aid with CPR
: j2 O0 r4 a* [( |0 ?- v• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
0 z' D4 x- y: j0 [0 p• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
