The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

. l( C/ V, b* b+ K! o" g0 J• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
" Z0 _0 p) a! F+ O: c• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
, ^6 ~; f/ W0 L4 a• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
2 f# W* b6 y( Y: f' ^) V8 @6 [* Y; i• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

5 _0 \) O0 Z3 D$ Q. ~Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
( ~4 g! r+ l. P1 N9 Q" OTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
. `0 r( N: g) G; _• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
1 A7 v1 X  q  e* i1 E• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
" A% ~  k; B2 Y0 z• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
