The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
  w1 L% W! s) w1 E; K9 _• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
2 c- u! a; Y/ \' l• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
3 S- g  h( C  {7 V7 J, b* B3 P& E• Behavior management
" l9 P% z* m# k& `5 X• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
2 y% u" K" h: K! _# ~( }& bEducation
4 j) j, v$ v( X: N- M  i• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
/ z" ?+ \) \2 ?# kTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
2 _* ]9 `. L# ?5 J• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
2 B2 u4 X: N& D+ y2 t- s• Standard First Aid with CPR
/ w# j) F3 {) n% b* x4 L: z% @• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
