The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. • Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community+ I: L2 C& u ]$ ^& h6 h% y
• Program implementation

• Facilitation of recreation and leisure s# N8 p: {, \ h* G
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals

Education
) |0 ~$ M0 e/ I V$ X. a7 X• Completion of a high school diploma

Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
+ E* w- e) d) g3 I7 J• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months); ]) i4 {3 A# [2 g5 }: W
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)$ d& E( N0 ?- ~0 W6 O& r
• Standard First Aid with CPR9 l* r, \% B) N" x! w7 s5 C+ \! E! g7 G
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment; y- a* s0 @ v9 V( L
