A magnitude 6.4 earthquake has struck off the northwest coast of Vancouver Island, officials at the Pacific Geoscience Centre have confirmed, but there are no reports of damage or tsunami warnings.1 s ^, j7 K5 c! I0 G

Initial reports estimated the quake was as large as magnitude 6.8, but those estimates were later downgraded to 6.4.
