nine years and our mission is to equip youth to engage and inspire others to- I: ^7 V8 Z% _" `) Z
peacefully resolve conflicts and develop healthy relationships in their communities.
{3 t: c8 f- S2 zThe YOUCAN VERTO Project is a Government of Canada and Government of Albertafunded
, `$ ^0 N& j8 f& y3 s; y. m& a
project that will bring at-risk youth together into a unique 15 -week groupbased
. Z4 E& z. l: semployability skills program entitled “The VERTO Project”.+ h& M# C0 z, K9 G1 \! Y
The goal of the VERTO Program is to assist participants in obtaining and maintaining% h7 Q+ Y1 R) Y. v1 X2 C. a* u
the skills necessary to bring success into their lives. Verto program will expose* J( W( b! R5 ?5 ~
participants to a wide range of components focusing on: employment development,3 r5 L' H7 o' Q5 |
personal wellness, technology learning, conflict resolution, and exposure courses.( Q5 e! y3 \" }4 D( d$ Y
Additionally, we will incorporate topics around health and wellness, volunteerism,
/ P1 y+ Z7 A- W- fand leadership courses. Verto youth will be provided with a six-month employment
9 T# b6 l! V0 }+ T' Pfollow-up once the program is completed.

Verto project will run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the
