T.A.N.G. Youth Program is an educational and activity-based program aiming to equip

interpersonal skills, anger management, personal development,

What will take place in the sessions?
' T# c" z1 |* M0 tEach session presents concepts through interactive activities that encourage active discussion and participation.

1 C7 j$ `9 S) c0 x( jRegular Spring and Fall Group Sessions: runs on alternate Saturday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m.$ Z* A! w3 z, ] o" f
Summer Group Sessions: 2 consecutive weeks in July from 9 to 5 p.m. daily8 ~8 _1 n, |! L: s6 R: {: r+ r% h
2 consecutive weeks in August from 9 to 5 p.m. daily

Who can participate?
" X7 X8 M5 M+ R: v$ t; _2 eAsian youth aged 11 to 15, who are new immigrants or locally born Asian living in Edmonton or surrounding area.

, k; G: q( X/ zWhat is the cost of joining the T.A.N.G. program?1 R4 R8 q G% g3 D
It is FREE and space is limited to 15 to 20 participants per group.; F) W( c% x( [2 r9 i$ T
; z. _6 O0 U2 V& H& [4 L: Z# Y1 h& g- h; S" w9 L$ G* y$ K9 t; y
Volunteer’s Duties:# @; ^, D; P' n- A& h5 i, I; ?
, Q: q; ]# l; ~2 P+ ^* R+ A Distribute promotional flyers to schools, churches, communities and social services agencies
% Q, s: d. {. z: d5 u3 C Facilitate and/or coordinate activity-based function such as to host a gym day or sport tournaments or workshop on personal growth development
( s1 Z3 ~; n, q& B* Q% c3 O Facilitate or assist in ice-breakers and/or other activities E0 m1 u$ M% P& q
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
, W& A {% |2 R! K- n) b- ~ Research activities related to the sessions’ topic

; c8 L7 D$ M2 ?' g6 T2 p8 c& L On-going volunteers (we have volunteers dedicated themselves to the program for almost 4 years)/ a9 [8 g$ o, i
 One time volunteers: minimum commitment is one seasonal session, i.e. 8 – 10 sessions in Spring, Fall or Summer
