Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)

) ?7 G  G' W" V2 [/ v2 z$ uTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
, m6 X- k/ i: z6 }: |; v
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
5 {' C5 u$ y4 y Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
6 @" b; q" j) C9 @ Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
5 O3 o0 h' v/ Y! a) z! ]5 y Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
6 p6 F  {  p4 I9 f3 u2 y Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
& @" D& }5 ]& f Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

! Z% j" o4 j9 {) }6 y0 I/ s4 D Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
1 L# w6 t# S# z Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
