Position:        Youth Leader
- H+ m- X0 T* W4 J# gDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
# f2 l! V3 k% X4 L6 T6 b' x/ a" NCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
) L5 v$ c& T5 V$ i/ K  {) xCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
$ g4 l* I. |- {3 p' M5 g" c( XTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
  W* {; [2 B5 Q4 R! M
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
# ~. M, Q) s  q/ \" c/ O Take attendance if available
9 U! h" @. `- i: |, m! w Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
3 O' ^4 }( D: |! i! W2 g Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
7 |* N1 c9 e/ j6 v& m/ v Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
+ ~; z9 M1 L$ D- T7 Y2 o7 {9 o Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
$ q# v8 r0 f4 Y* Z9 @( f5 b Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

1 v. }- K: R9 |4 z Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
9 w, h: m( F2 C: V& |( v9 T Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
: R2 E" J0 `; G8 B3 p4 Z6 I1 { Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
! H5 m. T% w5 P! }- s: B+ v Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
