Position:        Youth Leader
+ L. _2 {/ z2 w- R/ t" M9 pDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days

Program Coordinator:        Daniel SUEN


Duties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
' m: i1 H3 [* q9 W9 ?+ E0 M
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
9 g4 p) z% T, J3 r, G5 R" F Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
: U! u( X' n& k1 o Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
5 K0 o) C+ C. X& |) R Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
# ^# h1 w. {1 F" ?2 ]' Q Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
. n! q. ^5 e3 {2 l' O3 g3 N' q1 D Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
2 L. \) K! d* A& s Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
$ d4 R- m9 L0 o5 Q) q Assist in program planning/design
# L5 C5 i  O3 [+ V Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

7 I  L$ t8 d( T3 F Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
) y' ?! x5 C( {9 u: w Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
' ]/ ~$ _+ W- T& D4 ] A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
+ _$ A1 \& V, y& I4 m Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
/ ~- d' J8 k/ s* V: b& N% g Able to work independently with minimum supervision
0 N$ {) b+ l/ {2 W4 P7 s Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
# ^0 ^1 P6 c3 o/ C) {3 { Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
