Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:# n+ Y8 Q% F: j0 Y$ ]6 J
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;8 U( B r; `8 F0 E4 I
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.9 ]3 w. |5 E, S; ^( |. ^
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.! j' u, @1 M. o' w
