Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions: K2 J# @$ k* M; {9 i
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;4 j. J5 T. J/ m8 [8 |$ I
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.
2 o( V9 F" ]8 E$ F2 U& ]9 s2 W- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
