1. It's cool.
: c, `: S  a0 Y1 v$ v1 f. y
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
2 U# _+ T5 N/ s0 u1 e$ y    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)! t5 Q( b) ]. P$ w
+ e9 S) _$ C% p6 }  t* F$ Q4 r
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
    She (He) was cool in the past. 1 |) W3 h  r" S* @$ z2 ]7 ^- V
    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)
" M" I: F7 \8 ^1 C- u; M    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人)
8 ^) m: L! A# W2 j  Y, g8 D
# n( n1 {  K! j# a但是如果说:Are you cool?
4 r6 Y" U: L# r# t    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not   r7 N' z) c1 v0 c8 j' k* X+ @
    emotional.
" R% R* b! j7 w( ?# q    (注:许多华人把 cool 译成「很酷」)
/ T1 Z( @6 g( U$ Q: i1 m9 F( b   V! }% S  q8 J) ]+ _3 r9 h/ [, e- t
2. Are you trippin'?' e/ X0 |! s( p4 a- g3 q8 f

这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?) 所以可以说: 0 G# R  G5 t( X& ~8 B6 Y+ R
    They are trippin'. (= tripping) ) l; _2 ~: \3 \( }. y) j
    She (he) is trippin'. # K, B5 Z& e# }/ F2 ]0 c
Mr. A must be trippin'. 1 T$ n" q  c+ I
4 s' m8 V, _4 s4 \
/ m2 z3 d9 N" x5 R* H  {
3. He is a nerd
6 u! z* X7 P! }% p' n: e* y' P7 e2 Z% d
(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
( H, ^$ k4 i6 p( u7 |6 u* g    He used to be a nerd in high school
) [6 e( [! d. S0 G! ]' Z1 o* W) T; ^, ?9 j
4. Yo baby
+ Q- M% m1 F9 w+ j4 G* j8 V0 y& k4 ~2 t, A  v* D
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说: 4 z' F, h: g" n7 O5 R# o
Yo baby, are you trippin'?
0 [  I. i( c3 e$ P) z$ O“Yo baby" 後面可跟任何可以「打开话匣」的句子。
- H5 N/ n* M, x7 y: _4 UMay I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before. , {. x/ R) L. c, M- X4 X
% C; O, ^/ `8 P% @$ ?    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?) ' W' }! w5 R9 o3 w( c+ Q" N

  W: q3 f  t' t) e# G5. She is a ho
" V; J8 P8 N2 {7 {& C2 ]  @) ^6 h$ W3 p, I5 u
(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
" G; e" F+ N+ X. U+ J) C    They are (were) hos. 4 H% a! i( n# ~2 U% n) s  G
    There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.) % y2 i! s- L8 k! `$ K1 ~  S
1 `  ^+ T& r" N
6. Catch you later!
! N* W* ?7 p; T
(a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)
1 ~9 e& j8 ?) |- ]) k9 K% c有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again.
1 k. I& S% n9 `9 v(我要走了,再谈吧!)
