- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
/ K3 ?& Z$ _* Z- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
& q b6 h( s: S# t- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP

- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members2 k. T. C* b; k
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
9 b9 }; ^. J1 s; F( {7 ]* L6 F- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated

- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals1 Y% k9 H& c/ p: ^3 X2 f
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder; u* @5 T! h) u0 X
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.) w* n5 u5 y; H* C) a- [# G
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

Qualifications: A7 b" d' C5 d2 Q* s! W
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
& [7 s& v! L7 l3 ?/ D3 C6 D- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
9 Z% K, B# V% Y. g! Q; f( C. n" W- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers# A% `% L5 u7 u2 Z0 u
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
5 g' Z! J" l' \* F2 c- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
