& W7 e8 m9 V4 O- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
6 h9 d5 _( V: l, s1 o2 o- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.0 e0 w5 \0 ]9 D& y+ y& n. q
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
p$ U! n! M- G" `% f+ {5 P- provide support to ISP staff
! R; y1 t5 B" s8 D w* G- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
( V Y; F: y% x8 i4 q0 ^& L" i- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities1 i" n9 X$ [# e
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated0 Y0 R) t) q* F* a/ g; r$ {
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants- y8 u- m! V- a
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals

- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

Qualifications5 b& q* d9 t: u* a5 W) y; {
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered$ C: b/ A* ?8 A" `
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
% O& z4 h: t; a- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
4 ?* A1 a& N( A/ S/ R- Y- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
) |5 k# X8 W; w! t- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
" n" f. o3 D( G! [! v- good interpersonal and people skills
- C4 k, D3 v" U9 U2 O) G- good organizational and coordination skills
