; j& ~, V+ G/ O4 ?- [* eWorking closely with the distribution and warehouse teams, this position is responsible for load planning and balancing for Southern and Central Alberta
+ Q' J. R9 L( F8 A
+ G# @! j! p- v1 Y+ b& [JOB DUTIES:
, p1 J: d1 p' }        Balance loads efficiently in order to effectively utilize line haul trailer capacity;
1 v& K; p- T$ Z6 n) Z- F8 A5 t7 U9 W( I        Load Tendering & Scheduling of Commodity Shipments
3 f4 u. ]2 F% r' [* K        Operational communication with all Transport providers
  y& c; p+ ~, f! M        Booking of delivery appointments when required
        Make recommendations in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
        Various reporting functions, including cube analysis, carrier performance & compliance, etc.
        Liaison between Route Settlement, Warehouse and Distribution;
        Special assigned projects;
        Other duties as assigned.

; `- w* c) B+ g9 KQUALIFICATIONS:
        High School diploma or equivalent;
( n: z# y' C' k3 x% |# x' z        Post secondary education related to business or accounting is an asset;
        Experience working in a Distribution or Warehouse setting;
/ }) D/ O0 b- I. R        Experience in the transportation industry an asset;
        Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
