 Assist clients with resume and cover letter development, effective job search techniques, interview skills, and accessing the hidden job market after workshop completion.

 Encourage independence and self determination in newcomers; U+ R, E2 F/ ^, v) Z
 Work with newcomers in assessing their needs and a needs-based settlement plan./ ^  x, b& K- m( r$ G- k
 Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers.

 Ensure that newcomers know and understand their entitlements.

 Responsible for intake, orientation and completion of workability assessments.
+ ]( }8 k: X" \% Z# }1 V Deliver program overview to potential clients, as well as other interested parties.- ]; A# t6 u% K
 Screen and assess clients’ skills and abilities through a workability assessment.+ h! d; r0 ]( d! Z4 A
 Determination of which stream of services most appropriate for the client.  [1 a/ k( A. L5 m* W7 t' @6 `
 Provide referral information on other services that may be more suitable for the client.
/ Q( d5 a; Z9 }% P6 @# }1 v. B Cooperatively with the client, develop an individualized service plan.

 Ensure that participants have access to the required supports to successfully complete their Service Plan
5 ]' R" p  i6 M  Q1 H0 @ Assist clients in maintaining a job or in identifying barriers/issues that keep clients from obtaining/maintaining employment
; @1 k4 d' ~% S7 @+ S+ F5 m4 R2 { Assist clients with obtaining required documentation for working in their profession in Canada
+ Q* d. c( E( i* z/ \  K Develop and maintain knowledge of current programs and services available for participants4 ], L' m& W& N( ^
 Complete participant reviews with the participants  h6 O. i' N( o% l  f8 Y
 Complete 90 and 180 day follow up with client after training completion
