Operating machinery in a safe and effective manner

Assembling and starting engines

Good eye-hand coordination

Occasionally lifting weights up to 100 pounds
Physical work, sometimes outdoors in extreme weather conditions
Regular exposure to dust, pollen, fumes, noise and vibrations
Working shifts, sometimes away from home

Using measuring devices and understanding visual displays

3 V/ T) R6 W* n+ G4 FVisual acuity and hearing threshold tests are required for this position. Written pre-employment tests to become a Machinist Apprentice are required for this position. Completion of 3-year apprenticeship is required to become a Journeyman Machinist. This position is subject to night, weekend and holiday work hours when needed.
