Graphic Design Specialist

FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 K; Q) P& c' w8 l, e) ~. H5 l  X4 H•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
1 N, ^* }5 d4 d% d•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
" D- U  P+ F+ Q" V/ ~( a, K, c•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
  O' K4 }$ ]7 K. B2 u) y% E& X•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
. b& t$ @4 F, P* K•        Proficiency in use of the English language.

•        Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure.
