lowest rate cell phone for just in case

Ever heard of Virgin mobile.
( z7 R2 G5 Q: }1 f9 I$ \I personally have no big use for cell phone but a friend of mine told me I should have one on highway. Virgin cell offers 15 minutes that last three months.
* D/ ?) ~, X# A0 u" f  FAnybody used it or know how much is that 15 minutes?
I have a Fido on the shelf disconnected because it was hardly used.
