Help: Buying a car with title "leased vehicle"

. ?! i/ E. i7 d/ q6 [  I am going to buy a car, but when I am going to pay today. I notice that the title on the registration is " leased vehicle". Then I asked the seller and he told me he has paid off the lease, but he has not updated the info with the registry. I have not paid him yet. So I just wonder if
- S# D4 Z2 P7 {$ x, |  G, |  she needs to update the title with the registry first before I buy it?
