+ Q  K- t4 b, F0 r, z- n# c Complete comprehensive intake and needs assessment process and develop referral and case plans to support newcomers in fully settling and participating in the community  
 Continue to follow-up with newcomers, EMCN staff and other service providers to ensure newcomers’ needs are met     
- @) Y$ Z, c" P& I4 O( @ Provide holistic counselling to individuals and families, including hands-on support with accessing resources and resolving difficult issues
 Advocate on newcomers’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers
 Research and maintain current information about programs and resources available in the community
3 `/ u! Z1 c* k, d Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with staff of programs and services in the city and ensure EMCN clients access the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs
 Work as a team with EMCN staff to ensure holistic supports are provided to newcomers.

Qualifications
$ c  Z$ K) ]+ j- ]! o9 C9 E Social work degree or diploma
 Current RSW designation preferred   
 Demonstrated experience with holistic case management and supportive counselling
 Knowledge of and experience in accessing a wide range of programs, services and supports available in the City  
 Ability to effectively listen, assess needs and guide people in a supportive manner
' ~7 b6 W4 N1 `" W  w3 ~6 O Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
+ _" S# E+ D1 A, O Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
4 m2 V% _" ~4 `* T) E/ e; q4 a Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- s, `' R8 v5 _+ T; o/ T Ability to perform variety of diverse tasks under time pressure.
