9 U3 ]1 A" h/ s* XAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
1 D: w' o* O: |* W" M% d. Y* cProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required0 x9 ^) u v4 T. A& H! l+ W) J
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed, e5 y% p. W' ^* @/ C
Performs related tasks as needed

6 N/ }( e! `5 s4 f/ P% lDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
' \0 } Y- g9 Y2 J1 UDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred! t( O% v, F7 F& P) v7 a0 W
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset2 I/ b) ?5 u& H( N: I
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
