Duties
9 K7 ^. e5 I2 O( n: H( NAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)9 ?. W, F# v K! x9 D
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
! z. Y+ w1 N- v/ Y g4 F/ k# kPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
+ r( L2 Q7 M* LPerforms related tasks as needed! b6 P5 u3 g" S4 S3 g! {- V1 B
Qualifications
8 `% G; }) G. [% W- P; rDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred$ `8 f6 S" J) F
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
2 V4 m2 Q7 X% ?7 sSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
/ U& y9 [5 o: r* {0 F0 S) SKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred8 I7 N& ^! w5 r" r
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
