移民签证时护照的有效期限

申请技术移民，今年7月初在edmonton体检，一直在等待。
% O5 y. |5 r2 y3 t& F+ G' `前几天突然想起明年3月现在的护照就过期了
* R# l6 n, k8 i3 `请问如果近期收到passport request，寄去做移民签证的话，是否护照有效期必须是6个月以上呢？

应该不用的吧，没有哪个地方说护照有效期要有6个月的。

We require an original VALID passport for yourself and every accompanying family
member. Passports for you and all accompanying family members should be submitted
% N- v$ |$ i; A8 ~6 ztogether.

There must be at least two blank visa pages in each passport.
% N+ G5 r% v7 h9 M( T( ?  H
9 @6 `3 V3 @5 V" ?If there are children included in your passport there must be visa pages for them as well.

Please note: Immigrant visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military
passports.
