Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
9 P5 W; B2 j1 z4 m$ o■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.- u. e- }( p2 t" E: Y) r
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
. p. N5 Q) g! @ h( N+ e# W! X+ F■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships; o( j6 R- d) k' `
Experience and Education: m" c: g: V0 [2 ?3 K- @, V% a
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
: W& W" V) p1 c8 V v/ P/ ~! f' n■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.+ T* D$ G' t I" {! t% L0 `
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.2 ]' {' J, H% H
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;+ z3 O% N. m) H. e( P. C) H
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
" u' t3 v( p5 O# [8 o■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
