' V: P* O2 E+ ]! b$ p- L
 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
) c7 f4 p! o( D0 C+ q$ e Completing required paperwork.
$ g& c! l7 F& z Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
2 H6 k3 t4 j" J" ~' | Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
% g6 Q8 g9 \& V Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
8 p/ O4 K3 N1 w' B Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:
% X  I7 E, [9 Z
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
* M4 U' M0 ]" X Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
( O5 T9 F9 E7 Z- m! B( m Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
) F. x/ `. |3 W; m+ S) { Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
7 r6 B$ e" I9 n) ?" p+ q- u Knowledge of community resources.
4 x  f; h3 Z' w3 B1 R Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

; s- R+ j& p& E2 DThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
