 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
; \ F2 Z9 E+ F6 O; k' M( J# C7 | Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
) _) u5 _) ^4 i% I4 K Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.& [5 Q3 a( k& v7 ?( `
 Completing required paperwork.
' H" a& H) u# Y2 V" N- t% t: f+ Y Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.! V# n$ f+ q$ G4 ?
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
# T4 M) C$ G) Z% V- x9 A4 D Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

2 f1 i; T) ^- K+ O \0 } Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.' v9 `! c! u9 j
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.! Q( x/ N8 @; r) O# [4 ]! D
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
0 \* d( _% ]9 C. O Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
c f/ u" I$ J% V8 L0 E- A8 u | Knowledge of community resources.1 i+ D* g2 G4 S2 `: H5 o5 b
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.1 ^/ n6 ~# W2 P) H! t, R
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

I' X$ E% u! H' r* FPosition:: m1 k, p( Q# r) u: t& T9 l& P
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
