 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.1 f: S4 C2 r# [) y
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.

 Completing required paperwork.

 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.9 N( c4 V6 k L7 E
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. + u8 J, B9 S6 _& G9 H: I" }1 C3 `
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
; K% F1 l1 X( D3 q+ ^: y% m Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.1 Q Q4 Y- m# E" \7 C% t- Z+ }, M- j
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.8 }( n* S# U8 m9 U! p
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc. I1 t; h# x. i4 A3 J. C, u
 Knowledge of community resources.9 x' i" i, I: x4 X7 d4 b2 D7 g
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
$ q4 }- h7 A b Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. " p. J3 u; z7 q

Position:
& l# z5 H3 j" Z& T% B& q8 o/ ~This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
