The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.' u/ P* O4 f( c% G3 A6 S9 G) O& \

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
, B" p' G" l6 u4 s& E" c: B2 L# A. H• Answer multi line telephone system: J& D, c# P! v7 S7 ^! {

Administration:* M; P; D M+ E8 b$ h; i
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
1 X7 s- u# a+ Z• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits9 Y2 _( g* \) t
• Input and manage high volume of data
! D7 w9 J+ [* ]$ e1 T* u/ j+ B• Update and maintain databases8 }7 O& i9 h8 s1 A$ g+ O
• Generate monthly reports and statistics$ S( P+ p5 X* l) d7 R( `
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation5 W# l- J( C, D! K) I
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits3 V, [7 S" Y5 p& s& G, M
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms3 X" ?+ R! g3 n2 @% D+ _5 }
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors8 ^* _& ]7 F& E, u
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre7 l! S- Y+ Y% s {- D/ N; \
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
4 [( h1 K* w( ^, R* d) u5 Y• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS , I5 F: A9 h* U
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to interact positively with a diverse population6 E ]! f2 E3 a0 _2 S( r
• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
