The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

) I2 q# \4 a- Z" }6 |& r. I7 d- zThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required1 ^1 V$ N6 ~7 u2 U; u. |
• Answer multi line telephone system
) p" X5 v% C: T( J% J/ F6 B' n- |' e, F# a6 }0 M0 V$ u6 w
Administration:% K7 M* H4 U$ a
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
9 v( B$ m0 L6 J& g/ |- ~• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
( @6 z* O+ c% t: d• Input and manage high volume of data
! W# I' n3 ~ @& v) y• Update and maintain databases
# e; ^. U1 w% @- O: H8 {• Generate monthly reports and statistics
- f& U8 }( r. a1 k8 ], d• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation, c' Y/ e' u5 B' i
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
. U; l6 x0 E% O$ G1 R' Z• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
# J$ f6 t# b2 T; E( \• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors$ x" K/ D3 R- g
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
$ t7 \- P* Q- V2 @• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:! k* k' J: L3 o6 x
/ d$ A. p5 \/ t9 i9 @• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
, X' I7 j0 s l: T3 M) o% s7 T• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
5 n& n' ]; m. q g- q• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7 G# m$ `. B' I0 C+ U' W9 W• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work/ \8 V# _' m: Y2 u0 E
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population" d2 o+ l. j$ B7 \9 b$ v
• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
