The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required

• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits/ [1 J9 g" y+ L. b5 a
• Input and manage high volume of data& N7 q5 K0 @6 B+ j
• Update and maintain databases! F; g1 `; w4 v" u
• Generate monthly reports and statistics6 }* k; m( o1 J0 b1 S
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
/ |/ L. N7 t3 N" |1 _- M$ a' Q• Process payments and complete weekly deposits2 T2 a) ~5 X2 B2 C/ I$ M
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms7 a1 t2 m- b( G; \3 e* \
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors& e8 }1 |& E% | h+ R* L% r- p% r
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
8 a' g7 ~3 _# W: a• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients, p# X& b- c. [1 z8 D9 t

Qualifications:
0 x) V5 Z8 e8 o2 s6 z8 h; R) O/ r5 ^$ M5 \. z
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
+ Q5 R9 k: y* t3 r% J7 \5 j• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS # j4 R. z! L, {
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; _. ~, j7 t: ^- U
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
* m/ W6 a, U X- @• Able to interact positively with a diverse population& O& @* V# w8 X4 g
• Strong customer service skills7 P) }- C+ T* c$ p/ @% ^4 \
• Strong organizational skills and abilities1 g0 N) {) @# w, y0 t8 O* |
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset4 I4 z0 X, [9 S8 s4 W) r
