The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:

Reception: u$ ?# @9 a |! v H( I
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required* } q) J9 B+ O
• Answer multi line telephone system

! f# z# h2 K# w0 B3 G; e1 m- X$ {• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads9 D) M4 P3 |' T9 n
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
, X. E: t/ h! V• Input and manage high volume of data
" u% y- J9 n+ B• Update and maintain databases( [) E( N) E: j# i8 k- H
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
w( R$ T+ G+ E8 Z, w Z4 y7 l' j• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
( J" n3 ^9 u/ s g; @9 q• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
( R6 K) k- l7 @: R• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
( ^/ s% o% w( G' G6 o• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors" @- v4 h* |, Z8 T2 a0 I
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
. ^( k& J4 R, t% R• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

1 B' N8 \9 _& x6 Q9 }: c• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
* z. X3 B! Y: V! v• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS $ q5 K/ ?$ A* E* D: g5 r9 v* l, ]
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities
