Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
: C! v1 j+ m% Z9 w3 S  iReview, develop and improve processes and procedures
0 X% d! z% u$ A. p9 L* g6 GResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

2 Q7 Y( x$ n" A2 l  K* z$ mQualifications
9 C% i3 u# a7 f
6 {9 \3 c/ c5 V2 T3 _; [Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
6 {& p, Q' W& I  z+ g( VMinimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
; N5 O6 `% j0 D  R, d: ?) K( jExperience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
$ Z9 S7 @2 o! ^  w! f4 a$ S6 mUnderstanding of the Bill of Material generation process
1 Q1 Y/ E* ~$ F5 M  \Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
9 \" }$ M: C5 j0 ]3 D# |8 }Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
