•        Process research equipment design;
* j: W; ]" J2 O# R: `+ }•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
9 Z$ E; M+ j1 V6 B•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
0 |% [) }1 C: P) y' m" Q1 R2 `•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
•        Others.

0 V0 F8 O, t3 p' i' ^Qualifications:
1 r5 s$ T$ v: {8 V/ a) c•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
; U2 ]# q' }% _, y, T8 z+ ~% D- @3 ~•        Familiar with CAD software;
% n( y1 U2 ?$ l2 j; I•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

2 p+ [# j: _$ }8 hCompensation:
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
