& r3 j& U) X+ R% a7 Q( }0 w5 h4 A# ~An engineering start-up, which is committed to support the R&D and industrialization of process technologies in North America with expertise and international resources, now accepts applicant for the position of Mechanical Engineer /Specialist through Industry r&D Associates program, Alberta Ingenuity.

4 N( h+ j1 A. d, c7 \' ?( Z5 nMajor Responsibilities:
•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
( _1 N. N- O$ q5 j( f•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
•        Others.

Qualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
2 Y1 |( O% A8 i8 W1 s•        Equipment design experience is required;
: W+ ^+ _! q  d. H0 _2 ~0 @•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
