% B( k+ T4 T# n! X# {. y Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.5 R/ F& t& G' r
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
6 V8 m8 ~2 k! R( c; n0 U$ x Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops., ]4 T9 |& d# Z; K) X
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.: V$ A9 e# P: s S8 n
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. 8 j, {; z) z' n5 Z* s
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
% h6 G! V; j( t4 ^% o# K Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
1 T/ S) |" J+ j9 a+ r# P! e9 s Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.% d7 E# N7 D. i$ H6 f
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
/ j* V% Y Q% ?0 E% Q7 C Knowledge of community resources./ Y; U; [/ F+ o& p+ Y
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.$ w: Q6 v8 _" n! l4 I
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. 8 ^' T4 z' F! y6 _6 S

5 m% d; \# m, J* E) F2 W2 C, ]This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
