* z% C' s: y1 r4 T q" x Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
& i% Z* |' v% u F Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
: h$ u- [' c0 G, S( Q( m2 v Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.$ A) V& u4 [7 a2 v, r u2 t
 Completing required paperwork.

 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.: X6 u! w# A4 f R9 v
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.

 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.- H/ b% N" U6 l2 x
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
0 Q4 v" f, c U# f4 z3 E. C Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
. D; T/ y$ n8 }% ~( ]/ ? Knowledge of community resources.
' H c1 W# E/ y! s- ? Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance., \- d, Y, d- {% I+ b1 f
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

( I$ a$ C" m9 jThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
