Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
& {: Q+ z; I7 i$ r) Z/ U8 {  ?Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
" v+ s+ ?/ M" D2 V; k- g4 sment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
+ a+ z# N, Q2 i! g8 H; r4 vThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
: U" B* W  `: N/ p9 GŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
; G+ M; o! X0 ]- F: Z  Z- Y' `support;
, n' |4 F9 m. y3 qŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
* r! [! V, ]; A$ aimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
* @6 k; r! i7 Z- _8 ?' |! @Ÿ Other duties as required.
( Q3 y: N6 S; I: V- X% V/ vQualifications:
& W9 \/ f4 J( ^) U! hŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
  W7 n$ V6 r) m2 OIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
