Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
* Y3 x  Y& w* L8 S5 rment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
/ e7 T( P- O' k: t: P& OŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
, l  P  n. ^9 j1 A/ m* kŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
: Z7 f3 ^2 q2 t/ T. \Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
# i6 |- J. E* `# w$ |  p. \+ `implementing staff wellness programs;
+ j. p1 P% Y0 g3 E9 xŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
3 r$ r% g% U: {Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
2 o" s8 i) G) Q: i1 `8 P4 l- V+ OŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
2 q* P4 n, |4 a# ^0 t( H4 l) a! t! G4 ^Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
" j6 [+ [. M5 a8 \: G* FŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
5 ^8 h0 c% Y$ K! u8 F, ?- ZŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
4 z* l5 s+ J' l0 s; a7 f" XŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

5 [2 Z% m$ _" p9 J/ U$ K  l( F- Fsuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
