Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
0 F  D' E: f0 KManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
1 `4 ]" q, u9 ^6 k8 b: ~5 Tment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
( G: f/ Q+ C6 W/ [6 [. \9 r2 e  TThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
/ f$ R5 t$ n. c/ Q1 y* `the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
+ T0 n, K4 l: l! o) L4 D/ m( k+ kŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
* f8 s* Z3 k7 d5 U& t9 l& Ksupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
& i$ b3 }' Z7 a0 F( C& I( `1 kŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
% [4 n# f7 s% ^% N6 W  H) MQualifications:
# S  a7 g4 |( F* o2 iŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
! x4 K, ~  p5 V. I; yeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
# N9 k+ [( W0 OŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
$ ]8 X1 d/ f& V' l" S% H; zŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
1 ~0 M1 P+ L9 j9 F$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
