Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
4 L! q4 ]( T  v( h; y$ AManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
- i3 a# O: p- qment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
) u: M, d! l$ \$ D* CŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
( T$ ^, d2 ]. h0 ^the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
( w$ S# C% w4 j6 s6 DŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
- z+ T: Y! A+ Y$ S" Z) fimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;

1 Z5 M3 W, z5 K% j, JQualifications:
9 J1 k; m! Z1 e1 o! J" LŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
7 K7 Z; ~+ U$ c( Zeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
) N! S# I6 p! o6 mŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
$ H" q4 ~! ~- t- [# J4 k& p, @verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
