Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
) Q) a0 W# o5 t6 D+ H$ |7 }+ WManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
* t& c$ ~; K# H4 Bment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
  o+ N" c) L9 V, l' K1 G& K+ \: VThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
( `. x% s( J- TŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
3 L1 e5 |0 t- Q  l5 vthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
( @0 }) ?  B- X  \+ ?# |Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
6 o5 v( l- A; T+ v! ?Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
( b) b, x8 B: h  Y, timplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
9 j# Q* Z: L: f0 P. e2 QŸ Other duties as required.
& c3 Z4 m+ D9 E( C& A. J8 I. B: \Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the

! c" A! E, A7 N% `driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
