Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
+ J) A+ V4 q5 R. T* {( Cment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
$ F( B4 q, c( k) hŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
$ G/ C4 X* B3 _2 j5 w6 y! |& \the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
$ c: |4 ~. Z1 Y  ^$ d' c3 }  Zsupport;
" o. \: b! [" p+ o, {8 eŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
1 m% T. y( y! D2 S6 X+ L" @Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
) ?% q( m  ^( w6 i$ z$ a, vQualifications:
* ^8 S1 E- S8 e* G+ mŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
' y1 Z5 L/ F' ?5 ?& i' |Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
