Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
2 u* R) j2 V& f& l% Kment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
1 @7 ~) V: @% }7 P: _( c6 yThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
/ i. X: V" ?% C0 V0 p' {! F. _Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
* W9 n; H; O" F$ D+ q7 gthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
" T3 N- t4 @# B7 Z( k6 N0 U( Esupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
- ~- r6 k7 V/ y: J! t( S7 f- QŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
7 \6 P+ t& U: h- H2 r/ gŸ Other duties as required.
. E: x8 Q% s" j6 DQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
4 H9 ?# G  r8 D9 U3 ]$ S4 l  X  X1 G; {Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
0 s; A  Y. l8 z: w* e3 ?0 s, QŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
