Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
6 L* M3 u( s; I1 P7 p* |8 d, `/ M$ BManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
( J! p& N/ W% [( j% u: G/ kment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
* [2 C( E0 W- z# F/ j* J0 Uthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
! B0 p- F; S) h8 aŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
2 D2 G9 B8 N  N5 Q# B, tsupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
# O' C" X: t$ ~; uŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
' V! w& V7 I8 k* H% mŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
% r  W5 }4 h* oŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
( E) M  ?. W$ u7 s- yeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
5 h+ P3 ~8 ^; l& J; h3 I& C5 G4 Yverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
$ ~7 |2 h2 J  w  Msuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
