Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
: Z0 R' M. e, i* }& S0 QPost-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
Adult education background
$ [: U) h0 X8 h; y( B5 i( fExperience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
Experience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
. G# [: ?! }2 V2 c6 v" z- AExtensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
Computer proficiency
( V. }7 ^* t) zStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
( s" U( D7 O- v% P) PDemonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
& O, G* @. {( q# k' h5 O8 JDisplay positive self-concept
Possess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
