Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
8 u6 ~6 K/ ^+ U6 L8 _Adult education background
Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
6 ^) C9 ^; G) A* eExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
! M5 R1 J; Y) a) u# ZExtensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
+ I, H* N/ s8 G. RComputer proficiency
4 @. f2 ~6 g) X1 S( IStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
0 m+ u6 \9 \1 G6 F& u/ RDemonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
Display positive self-concept
