"Do you like that?" she asks as she holds up the hottest shape in louboutin this season, the bowling shoe in purple and violet sunray stripes. It gets the nod.
! l8 E/ o) R6 p She holds up a designer credit-card holder for inspection. "I think that's so cute," she says.
; @7 G1 f4 q% R( C6 Z0 ?# U& E A dubious look from her father puts her back on track. "But it's not us," she agrees.
8 }) }0 x f7 }" s; k They also agree that shoes and heels will be bought in matching pairs, another strong ladylike trend.# K. Y! k" d$ e7 R" E9 q
Although many may envy her job travelling to the world's fashion capitals to buy the most cutting-edge collec-tions, she is quick to explain that this is no shopping expedition.
& O ^3 @! d3 D* ^/ ] "This isn't shopping, it's business," she says. "They're make-and-break decisions."
