Job Description/Duties: Works in the area of Water Resources within the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering: supports the teaching and research activities of the Water Resources Group - Maintains and operates equipment in teaching and research laboratories - Assists professors conducting laboratories for undergraduate and graduate students - Designs, builds and repairs experimental apparatus, including test tanks and channels - Maintains and repairs pumps, flow meters, valves, tanks, channels, and other hydraulic equipment (includes cleaning and painting) - Operates and maintains measurement systems such as Acoustic Doppler Velocimeters and Particle Image Velocimeters -Conducts field work as required for teaching and research purposes  9 V+ V2 X& g" G& ^" }% S
