Job Purpose
; Z8 B7 W# c, {$ A7 TEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
; S" I, r- H, Boperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
  r- p4 ~: n& x8 }" |. cthe Store Manager.
5 Y" f6 i. t: l: F2 jDuties and Responsibilities
/ L( d( n/ d7 J+ @# x' \) M/ LCustomer Service
. M, W) ^& R2 E3 T. f, h• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
) ]; K& D# H) J, `* o8 i/ ?• Assist customers find what they are looking for
3 r) U5 m% X- K, \$ x! K• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
1 r# H! {% p& l; N1 Q% s4 `1 E7 ?• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
8 a4 X: W( I0 Z/ j9 p# Slooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
6 T  M- @# b; L9 u' P• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
/ p6 f. ^8 {9 m• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
7 q7 t) _4 W6 L5 M( F; i• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
. V* x$ L. r# ^% k# \, p; p* C• Protect company assets at all times
& C5 @4 w  `0 c- H, r/ [• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
# M' B# d. G9 v. m6 e$ q7 \• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
+ D8 v0 I9 Z' w# P4 {0 b% o' q* K• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
' o; a* i: B5 J0 [Working Conditions
• Fast paced environment
• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
  ^: L6 C# R* K  J• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
$ Q  r. l, G& h6 l# L0 m6 u• Comfortable climbing ladders
