SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
$ m1 k/ o: a( J: {6 H# lEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
/ k9 Z2 H; h" U; E7 {$ zoperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
8 y! |- ~- D, T* b2 d9 qthe Store Manager.
* \2 s; k$ v! cDuties and Responsibilities
/ z1 x' T9 @2 U9 ]" @  J( V' xCustomer Service
( B# m5 _& [5 h• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
& Z  k5 c6 r% X7 @5 P• Assist customers find what they are looking for
4 Z' o! f/ ]/ L! t$ Y. x• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
% y& w4 k$ |3 ystock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
$ J, U8 w5 d; Slooks under 25 years of age

; Z0 w! `8 r; f4 @0 \• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
# Q: f: `$ r! k$ Y' t; z• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
) T: L/ V0 K. i  H• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
8 T6 T7 ?# o% l, }  y• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
) H7 r7 P. L' V• Close the store (key holders)
, H3 Z* s. V- T2 i7 N% J; p• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
* H1 K; U. `  p+ n: tQualifications
• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
3 P) a0 b" w0 y5 \changes in strategies
Working Conditions
• Fast paced environment
• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
% r8 P) q% ]$ C• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
* }# o8 z3 P! m" \0 _• Standing for extended periods of time
