% c( Y( p1 a' E' X" X! p( b9 l3 C) z Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

8 a  v, m- G; I2 |9 r- E5 mWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

  B) a* m' Y# S- e* `' L& ILiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

! W9 ]2 f% q% e* C" h! @Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

# h5 {* S2 e! E( JProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).

- x4 E$ R& z: q Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
% K5 ?' d* C( H; f7 Q* B% ?6 ~) t
' H( Y& y( {( [5 R- }; P' h10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;
+ w9 f8 k& o5 H/ ]8 @4 p( j8 H
' d$ j4 i( h# I# MGas industry experience preferred;

! a! L5 D% H9 e0 y. ?( O' ?9 }Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

7 A, m' }/ Z0 OExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
