9 M: [: l+ e) [# L: H# ~ Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
& x5 }4 u* C2 Z9 a. W! z Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

) A8 N: n: I3 mWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

7 r# t2 c2 ^9 C* l( S- JOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

( h- U2 e: p: N2 _1 SLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

' @2 `- X- r3 p% I% ]Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

8 b" ]# Z( i" J! IWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
0 ~, @6 Z# G6 F" O* TManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

# \. D# x2 y& Y( Y1 OProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Qualifications  
' B( [: E+ a* w% H2 J Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

, P' p' Q" |* x* o. J; Q+ ]( P! f10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;
) ]" N1 ~# V) n# R7 ^
Gas industry experience preferred;

- E( O4 R5 I( S  C3 i9 jExtensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

% y1 P/ ?% X4 I% F1 N2 Y* ~6 A9 DExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

1 f+ ^, Z) ]4 U. i, Y- i3 vStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

8 H( S" G, W+ x" o& ]/ x* {8 UA high degree of personal initiative;
