' V# Z6 P* X3 `$ G. R8 hReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

! i, h& @8 j! R6 n* y2 NKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
& h9 u9 ~1 o! o7 z5 B& D2 r/ J        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
3 x7 c$ m. }. x        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
0 n8 O3 U7 L. }/ N% F2 ?* w        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
& Q- y9 x+ X. l: l. ?4 P+ n) v•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
" ?/ t' n- J) X! d% D$ u; g# ]•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
& e- E# a- w. h% r2 Z" V4 Z# }  n- s•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
# X0 ]% J- `) M/ o•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
" F8 B) o. `  W1 f3 Y•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
