# X% d5 h& v# Z; y6 g5 n8 qReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

- z3 e( f1 J2 L* b- m2 E; j7 G$ SKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
" r/ X& Y  T4 ], K; ]        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
# M2 `7 R3 j: O/ q1 `        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
  W$ \  p7 s/ o        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

! l) n; y  I  pQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
6 B" W- W* t+ ]- @! J•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
' }: R# t/ a# z  H* Z•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
6 V) I' Z9 K+ h0 B0 Z7 u•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
