Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
; X, x" O! J/ B: q, @9 ]+ n: o8 ^) u        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
: }) u- F3 V' j- B# u        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

7 a* I0 O( R( e, KQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
; ]. d* W: X7 P1 p•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
: ?% [. {1 s; n7 q1 R•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
# e8 _8 ^, u6 w! _  N9 a9 P$ o•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
+ C) g' y5 r" _•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
