Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
( }; c: H5 a  O0 b4 ~. C6 d$ Z" x        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
4 ^* }( q/ K0 U, Y; @        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

, P; _- J4 v" f! i# k# v+ u% X5 TQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
, k0 Y( a# H9 T•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
5 k9 ^/ U6 ?' L. k' n•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
6 d) \8 _1 m! B* R•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
5 H# K6 @+ k3 i; Z) B•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
