Salary:         $40,462 - $56,410 per year, depending on education and experience.
Full benefits and pension plan.
Hours:                 35 per week, some evenings & weekends

Recruit Participants

' t) D. L/ [' L0 u-        facilitate recruitment of participants for the Keshotu Leadership Academy
$ a8 \7 t% B: S. o0 G* Y2 a: f-        conduct interviews to ensure participants have necessary qualities

Organize Leadership Training Sessions
7 n5 P- j& K  j6 L9 t* X1 ^3 q3 S-        locate an appropriate venue for weekly meetings
  @3 `  d" Y9 Y% {-        set up a plan for the span of the project (Jan 08 – Dec 08) for weekly meetings
-        use project proposal to ensure time is spent with all identified areas

Plan and Facilitate identified public events
-        with youth participants

1 G- `( ]0 k8 c$ nMedia coverage
  {  U0 G" ]: s-        work with media consultant to ensure good coverage of project

Networking
-        attend meetings relevant to organizational mandate
-        create and maintain relationships with community groups, individuals, institutions that are interested in race relations

Professional Development
  \9 c# I1 `, V/ V. F3 o3 c-        Be informed on current issues on race relations and other areas relevant to the position.

-        With program manager, create proposals to continue funding of this project.
1 v1 ~/ p% }7 Z. ~& @8 s-        Also with program manager, create a logic model for each project with activities; short, medium, and long term outcomes; and indicators

" M7 {  L2 K( G" \: A3 o  ~0 X& {9 oReports to Funders and Program Manager
6 N2 L$ H, k" }- z" x-        submit quarterly reports to program manager and timely reports according to requirements of each funder

! i% g: i# q3 }-        work with external evaluation consultant to collect appropriate data for evaluation
-        include in all interim and final reports, outcome measures using indicators from logic model

-        experience with project coordination
-        degree or diploma in human services field
