He began work with our Union in 1981, receiving Inter-provincial Journeyman Electrician status the following year — and in 1988 he also became a Journeyman Boom Truck Operator.

U* E$ ~While on the job and with a young family he continued his education in night courses, graduating from the U of A in 2001 with a degree in Human Resources Management.  In 2003, following two additional years of study, he was designated a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).

    * Shop Steward
7 T7 b7 t. I" ], T    * Chief Steward
    * Local Treasurer for five years.

6 j1 l9 G0 t. e0 A9 v3 u& _For four years, Tim was our Local’s Dispatcher before becoming Assistant Business Manager in 2002.
