Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

Responsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
) X/ X& W: s! v& B. [, p8 u; W2 W9 L
# @0 v% x2 X5 ?; o" E8 FResponsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.  
Responsibilities  
End Result :
Electrical critical drawings are up to date and accurate

Achieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

Managing critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

Performing site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,

2 Z# `4 B) \4 W$ CEngaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,

Developing and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

Performing quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

Leading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

: Z! q7 p& {, J+ x0 H" rIncorporating new technology and best practices with focus on solving business problems and operational requirements in a competitive environment.

. @* N" o1 Y- [3 t Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.

10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.
% ?8 }5 N# I7 O( o0 r
  i% S% b5 g2 H' r/ |2 s* a0 `5+ years AutoCAD experience.
" h; v6 T; H* B
7 z# a: c; s8 b+ Z3 |5 W. tRegistered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
