According to my knowledge, most motors with single phase, have two different windings, one for running and one for starting, their rotation directions are pre- fixed. " n# p, R2 j' s9 F i5 Q1 ^. i* d& D( p" c2 P
But "all windings" motor, which has two same windings, if swap two leads of ONLY ONE winding, it will change the rotation.
