On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.& @- @8 b" T% t* W$ u
! a& b6 c* \6 W1 [. C' ZBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:! T' n, c- w* m C* }
7 Y4 [3 F7 p( s! vlearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut 9 O# I3 C. S; h2 }0 a' I' Q( B# x
digging for and examining fossils # L0 y5 m$ X* C
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth ~! V8 P. _ w# H( z
investigating insects ) _3 k3 J9 H0 `, v0 n) Y

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.5 V( R. Q. R! ?( w
