- Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects
7 t; T3 r8 i/ ~" r2 H9 S2 o- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects
& L, U$ Z3 n3 ?+ z. M3 }* |6 S- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions
) p7 C6 M6 `4 ]. i) x' w2 Q7 O+ u& d- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects
5 F, i7 n# g7 B6 G5 y. w- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
- Clean and prepare metal parts for coating
3 w0 a6 i5 h- [0 q! c* h- Tend ovens which cure metal coating
Requirements:
: C4 m7 G! ~) m•        Completion of secondary school is required
•        On-the-job training will be provided
