) r0 q2 \3 p& J2 x( I* r! u( n7 Q% K+ e( A, H6 M8 F
ironic:' R3 T n8 C% k" e( ~1 e* Q
我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?
/ u6 A# r3 o9 Jthere, I was being ironic
# E9 k6 a! h) m8 I. G9 l3 `$ cironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world.
X8 I e$ e- {* N
" M5 l+ X- F* F- K. \: t7 l. J" p$ Z
美女: are you being sarcastic?
5 X$ n- }3 } {& E6 y如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!
, F) h8 j8 N9 W+ X6 t- v美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
