- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth9 G/ E& [2 ?/ O$ V6 {% T
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
) w1 r4 ^$ a" z/ N$ r" B0 J- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
0 O( _; D( k5 @% [4 ~$ h- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs% @0 ~; l W0 B+ W( F3 q' Y
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health4 b, x6 n! O# {; ? F; T/ P

Key Qualifications:/ h6 G8 ?1 }6 y
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences+ ?' E* w- B/ p! i5 h
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
* k; [# m( f( Q" Z+ Y- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others4 h# R( r7 L- R2 x
- Experience doing program development. F7 e j! q# X$ |8 |3 Q
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
$ n! |& Y; F3 i" x- Self-directed and able to take initiative
( x4 Y2 H0 Y' y# w2 ^" l- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset! V# u' b' S+ t! E2 |
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

- Skills in marketing & promotions
