/ h. L5 _8 `( ]5 b+ t1 KTerms: Full-time (35 hours per week).
Compensation: Based on experience & qualifications.

  ~. f1 a% u3 t4 }Responsibilities:
-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
9 e2 T- |" `. s8 v* V( v-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:
) ~4 l' G- Q3 V3 z-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
+ Q1 z2 A2 [4 p6 T4 N-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
- V6 `, |0 Y9 L9 \% }5 `-        Experience doing program development
3 `9 A6 V9 L) N; S" _-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
* n- E' y! ^! ~( U; y/ @-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
-        Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

* m9 h+ h4 T- A$ W3 o-        Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
5 s) [" \9 z, j. ]$ n  \-        Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
, C* Y# ~  Z& V% G8 A-        An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
-        Skills in marketing & promotions
+ x3 ^2 M4 R, i-        Some evening and weekend work may be required
