- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth% t8 F- F/ d7 O3 X2 F7 E/ C
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
9 e2 T- |" `. s8 v* V( v- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups" h- l: B6 W, D) ^* D+ c- S% S% |2 E
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs. W6 k$ ?/ H S0 }' ?5 G# D
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:
) ~4 l' G- Q3 V3 z- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
+ Q1 z2 A2 [4 p6 T4 N- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement0 c& M# m" S- G1 E: Q7 p: }
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
- V6 `, |0 Y9 L9 \% }5 `- Experience doing program development
3 `9 A6 V9 L) N; S" _- Strong organizational and coordination skills) }) S2 L' l9 F: o
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
* n- E' y! ^! ~( U; y/ @- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset# }% y4 @, x7 v2 [
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license6 Q8 e. d3 [, s
