Responsibilities:
4 ^# u/ E H# E. ?5 J- s9 j& z- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth/ X( [' [, s+ b3 k* T+ t) }( v- N
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
8 e' e& h% J8 `- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
$ P0 ?' q# E! ~0 s8 H2 O4 \$ {- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs3 p& i" I; d! x" q+ u3 U) S! E& j
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
, o8 y5 X! T2 p6 l. P+ u2 J+ e- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement m( }5 c9 p T0 o4 q n9 I& U
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others

- Strong organizational and coordination skills
( ~1 ~- ]8 p6 K, E2 h- Self-directed and able to take initiative, y# ^8 N# e2 W2 I' H; I
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset( i! \$ q) i' M9 \3 e5 ?7 \
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license2 c& E1 P7 c7 g1 a
