Hours of Work: Full time (35 hours per week)

* j' n6 R R/ g4 Z- promote the Centre and ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information# O" B9 {$ k- y! l' c7 V' ^$ U1 j
- promote Centre and ISP programs in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc. l- t0 M8 T" Z7 k
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP and Centre7 R0 S+ R# @% f" `; m
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members! `% E& {: ~+ e$ R
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
0 S( C1 _/ H2 |8 d# x6 X- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated% u w) G O, D
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
) g7 v$ P$ z0 t- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
. `, V% y7 N; z. v- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.

- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

: ^+ ]1 T2 R5 y: U0 Z7 z- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
$ T# p7 m& k) i# K! ]0 O; _- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
# z) V. t, u7 ^- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
# \. u4 d- K7 Z/ ^# w5 B; ]2 u- fluent in English and Chinese
1 B5 J( I4 j" ?0 ~- good interpersonal and people skills* K1 W s4 d. M/ e" S& g
- valid driver’s license
